Meet ‘Cleo’ the Clownfish.
 
The aim of this piece was to capture the vibrancy of the orange, stripy Clownfish within its natural habitat. The detail of these fish is not often appreciated due to them being so small, hence the large composition of a single fish. The colourful inks used in the background of this piece were chosen to represent the ocean and the coral reef in which the Clownfish live.
 
The original piece was drawn in Faber Castell Polychromos with Brusho inks in the background.
